Shirley + Jerry - Engagement Session - La Jolla, CA

Shirley and Jerry came down to San Diego last weekend to attend Shirley's graduation (she just got her Master's degree!) so we took the opportunity to go ahead and do an engagement session in La Jolla while they were in town. They're getting married in a few short months, and I can't wait to shoot their wedding. Judging from how laid back this couple is and how much they laugh and enjoy being silly together, I know it's going to be a blast!

Here is a sneak peek of some of my favorites from our session...

Shirley and Jerry, thank you for allowing me to spend the afternoon sharing a glimpse of your special bond together and trusting me to capture that in imagery.

Charlyn + Adam - Engagement Session - Playa Vista, CA

Here are some of my favorite images from an engagement session I shot for Charlyn and Adam, two of the most in love people I know. They met on eHarmony, and they're actually in the midst of the selection process for being in one of those commercials where they get to tell their story (there was even some video taping happening during our shoot)! On to the images...

Tech notes for the geeks... Image 9 (1st on 2nd row) was shot with 2 sunpak readylites. Image 11 (last image) was a 20-second exposure - f/22 @ ISO100, lit with 1 sunpak readylite.

Cambridge School Auction and Gala - Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club

Here are some highlights from an event I shot for the Cambridge School last month, which was held at the prestigious Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club. Exquisitely planned by my friend Jenny and other parents from the school, the evening was an elegant affair, themed after the golden age of motion pictures. And from what I hear, it ended up being an extremely successful fund raising event for the school, too, which is always good to hear!

Special thanks to my buddies Simeon and Josh for coming out to help and doing a great job!
